Max Eugene Hayes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Eugene Hayes of Leawood, Kansas, who passed away on February 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hayes and Ada Belle Hayes of Smith County, KS.; his siblings, Maxine, Marlene, Theresa, Roland and Zella; his former wife Marjorie Hayes; his brother-in-law Everett G Bennett Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kathy Hayes; his brother-in-law Tom Kenton; and his pet Red.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Luther Hayes (Herron); his children, Michael Hayes (Karen), Jane Swenson (Thom) and Stephen Hayes; and his stepsons, Jeff Herron (Julie) and Scott Herron (Patty). He is also survived by 13 loving Grandchildren, 4 delightful Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
