He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William P. Tierney and Harriette Tierney (Hassie Mote); his wife Karin Tierney (Elliott); his sister Mary Jo Smith; his sons, Tim Jr. (Yara), John (Laura) and Chris (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Alexia, Kathia, Erin, Mia, Quinn of Greer, T. J. and Schull.
