He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Godsey and Carl Dodge Godsey. He is survived by: his wife Anne (Ruzicka); his children, Becky Godsey (Rosie O'Donnell), Patti Walker (Christopher) and Tom Godsey (Missy); his grandchildren, Ella, Charlie Herb, Caroline, Mack, Maeve, Wells Walker, Louis, Rosemary and Lenny Godsey; and his nephew Sean Lawson (Tonya).
In lieu of flowers, Wayne's family requests memorial gifts to the Innovation Fund for the Saint Luke's Foundation, in the care of Dr. Vincent Lem and the Hospital In Your Home Program, which provided Wayne so much comfort in his final day.
