We announce the death of Marvin V. Lake of Lebo, Kansas, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 83. Marvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Lake and Velma Marie Coble Lake; his brother Leon Lake; and his granddaughter Makayla Lake. He is survived by: his former wife Trudie Durham; his wife Sharon Ann Jacob; his daughters, Kristina Rues of Lawrence, Karri Lake of Topeka and Brenda Heins of Olpe; his stepdaughters, Richelle Smith of Emporia and Cara Parsons of Burlington; his siblings, Cathy Lake of South Carolina, Don Lake of Arizona and Myron Lake of Missouri; and his nephew Ryan Mitchell of Waverly.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Coffey County cancer Support Group and sent in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box #43, Lebo, Kansas.
