He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coyle and Lola Coyle; his siblings, Robert, Richard and Anne; his daughter-in-law Michelle Halsted; and his grandson Peyton Halsted.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Caleb and Shian Halsted; and also, Cynthia Coyle of Canton, Jay Halsted (Tammy) of Greeley, Mark Coyle (Sarah) of Fort Collins, Shawn Halsted of Hildreth and Adam Halsted of Grand Junction, Colorado..
