It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Abrams of Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Jean Abrams to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roshen Taylor and Oather Taylor (James); her husband Claude Eugene Abrams; and her brothers, Richard, James and Calvin Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Justice (Stephen) of Gardner, Kansas; her granddaughter Amanda Sewell; her great grandchild Thomas Eugene Sewell; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Taylor and Mary Taylor. She is also survived by three nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Chapel (2330 Shawnee Dr, Charleston, IL 61920). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
