He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Grace and Merle W. Rider; and his siblings, Jack and Kathleen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Matthew Rider; his daughter-in-law Jill; his daughter Stephanie Kearbey; his son-in-law Doug; his grandson Bradley Rider (Abbey); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Delilah; his grandchildren, Brandon Rider, Ashtyn Kearbey and Hayley Rider; and his siblings, Charles Lyle (Linda), Gale Rider (Shirleyne) and Raeauna Garnett-Sharrai (Rich). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
