Don R. Schaefer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2026, Don R. Schaefer (Lenexa, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Schaefer and Valeria Schaefer; and his grandson Nathaniel Closen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jeanene Rupp; his children, Lisa (Jay Arnold), Jeff (Michon) and Brian (Megan); and his grandchildren, Jacob Schaefer (McKenna), John Schaefer, Ellie Closen, Ryan Schaefer (Annie), Sarah Schaefer, Riley Schaefer, Kate Schaefer and Michael Schaefer.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (13615 W 92nd St, Lenexa, KS 66215, USA). Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
