With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Ann Jennum of Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Pospisil and Rosalena Pospisil (Miller); her husband Michael Jennum; her stepson Rick Epler; and her sister Diane Christian.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Jennum (Erin) of Lees Summit, MO and Andrea Shumway of Lees Summit, MO; her stepson Randy Epler (Cheri) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her grandchildren, Will Jennum, Ryleigh Jennum, Juliet Jennum, Caleb Shumway, Molly Shumway, Jake Shumway, Skyler Shumway, Garrett Epler, Gabrielle Epler, Brent Epler and Seth Edick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Overland Park, Kansas.
