He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter F. Nagel and Emma J. Nagel; his former wife Wanda S. Crafton; his daughter Sheri; and his brothers, Peter H. Nagel and William R. Nagel.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Nagel; his daughter Stephanie (John); his grandchildren, Rachel (Derrick), Claire, Zachery and Alex; his great grandchild Eden; his son-in-law Jeff Baird; and his stepchildren, Todd (Diane) and Lynn (Rick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
