He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wedeking and Adeline Wedeking (Ziebolz); and his siblings, Molly McClellan, Diana, Danny Wedeking, Thomas Wedeking, Beverly Boucher and Joanne Murdock.

He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Wedeking (Libby) and Cassie Wedeking Mort (Carl) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Emily DePinto Hill (Benjamin), Caitlin Mort (KJ), Thomas King and Andrew DePinto; his great grandchild Caliana Walker; his pet Toby; and his siblings, Sister Mary Adeline, Nancy Turner of Hawthorne, CA, Clarissa Nelson of Enumclaw, WA, William "Billy" Wedeking, Leroy Wedeking, Topeka Father Patrick Wedeking of Jamestown, NM, Anthony "Tony" Wedeking, Stephen "Steve" Wedeking and Darrell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
