She was predeceased by : her parents, Adolph P. Herzig and Mary Teresa Herzig (McNamara); her husband Leo Edward Flaherty; and her siblings, Joseph F Herzig, Helen Muckenthaler and Mary Moran.

She is survived by : her son Michael Flaherty (Martha); and her grandsons, Christopher and Patrick Arthur. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
