He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Marr and Berniece Marr; and his wife Dorothy Marr. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Marr (Lis), Tiffany Eckland (Chris) and Nicole Marr; his grandchildren, Garod, Megan, Tori, Drew and Caleb; and his cousins, Larry, Janet and Ann.

A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Church of the Resurrection (13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the same location.
