He was predeceased by : his wife Christine Ruf Crippin of Mark's Lutheran Church; and his parents, Charlie Crippin and Ann Crippin. He is survived by : his children, Jeff (Nancy), Crissie Kerns (Mitch) and Todd (Renee); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Kyle, Katie, Audrey, Scott and Claire.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cure of Ars Church (9405 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Village Southridge (14001 W 92nd St, Lenexa, KS 66215).
