He is survived by: his children, Lila, Loretta and Leonard II; his siblings, Karenza, Paul, Stewart and Frances; and his grandsons, Brandon, Leonard III and Christian. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady & St. Rose Catholic Church (2300 N 8th St, Kansas City, KS 66102). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
