She was predeceased by: her husband Earl; and her daughter Michelle. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda of Lenexa and Mary Beth of Lenexa; and her grandchildren, Emily Smith of Overland Park, KS and Griffin Middendorf of Gardner, KS. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, neighbors and friends.

The family suggests in leiu of flowers memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association or World Kitchen.

“Lillian was an absolutely an elegant woman. I had the honor of working at Saks Fifth Avenue for many years in the designer department with her. She was a war bride like my mother, we shared many stories. She was a second mother to me. I am saddened that I did not know of her passing and missing her service. She has now joined Earl the love of her life!”
