We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2025, Maureen Ann Huckaby (Lenexa, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Anthony Royal and Irma Brown Royal; and her brother Thomas Anthony Royal Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Stuart Huckaby; her children, Joe Hannoun, Sara Walden (Justin) and Liz Hannoun; her grandchildren, Charlie and Addie Walden; her sister Diane Getz (Scott); and her sibling's children, Zach Getz (Laura Polucha), Paige and Mackenzie Getz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (5540 Wayne Ave, Kansas City, MO 64110). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A repast was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215).
Graveside service will be at 10 am Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery located at 8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215 In honor of Maureen's giving nature, her family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to the Jaden Hicks Virtual Joy Drive benefitting patients at her beloved Children's Mercy.
