He is survived by: his wife Alicia Nevels; his sons, John Cooper (Melissa) and Donald Davis (Yannette); his siblings, Tyletha Nevels Dooley (Doyle), Marlyn L. Nevels Jr. (Eva), Nancy Brownlee (Roz), Randy Nevels, Vincent Nevels (NY) and Zelford Platt (DC); and his grandchildren, Kennedy, Kameron, Dominique, Denay, Adrienne and Zion. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
