She was predeceased by: her father Herbert A. (Verene R.); and her siblings, Craig Mellein, Joan Kirchoff and Patricia Sibert. She is survived by: her husband James A. Agnew; her children, Barbara Shepard (Steven) and James A. Agnew, Jr. (Melissa); and her brothers, Herbert Mellein (Carolyn), Charles Mellein (Mary) and Loring Mellein. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Peter's Cathedral.
