With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Verna Taylor of Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Backhus and Martha Backhus. She is survived by : her husband Bill; her children, Diane Kelly (Bob) of Dana Point, CA, Susan Richter (Blake) of DeKalb, IL, Kathleen Dillmon (Mike) of Olathe, KS and Bill Taylor (Stacy) of Shawnee, KS; her grandsons, Bill Richter (Ryland) and David Richter (Christina); her children, Sarah Rivas (Vic), Allison Denney (Darren), Spencer, Josie and Oliver Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Ellis, Alexandra Richter, Weston, Caleb Richter, Adam and Devin Denney.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hope Luthern Church in Shawnee, Kansas.
