He was predeceased by: his parent Jody Gaither; his son Michael Paul Gaither; his mother Inez Gaither (Langley); and his sister Marjorie Lee "LeeLee" Harbour. He is survived by: his brothers, Alvin K. Gaither Sr. and Leonard J. Gaither. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
