She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Jurgensmeier and Helena Jurgensmeier (Rieman); her husbands, Norman Lee "Whitey" Milam and Edmond F. Peters; her son Mark Milam; her stepson Mark Peters; and her sons-in-law, David Young and Frankie Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Milam (Patty Briuer), Michelle Shelton and Mary Beth Ellis; her stepchildren, Linda Daugherty (John), Monica Hardy and Charles Peters; her daughter-in-law Pam Peters; and her sisters, Evelyn Suther and Lois Bindel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
