He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Cook and Ruth Cook (Kramlich). He is survived by: his wife Myrna Cook of Walla Walla; his sons, Jim (Kathi) and Todd (Leanne); his grandchildren, Brendan (Sarah), Emily, Nick (Kate) and Matt; his great grandchild Eloise; and his siblings, Shirley and Robert of Washington State. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tree Top Room at the Southridge Apartment Building (1100 County Line Rd, Kansas City, KS 66103).
