He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Evans and Marie Evans (Boettger); his siblings, Richard Evans (Ann), Joan Schleisman (Daryl), Phoniel Miller (Gene) and Janice Harder (Ron); and his sister-in-law Carol Koehlmoos (Verdis).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Evans; his children, Brett Evans (Allison) of Cincinnati, OH, Blake Evans of Alexandria, MN, Beth Bartels of Pella, IA and Brenda Dykstra (Gavin) of Olathe, KS.; his grandchildren, Claire, Gwen, Burke, Jack, Bailey, Anne, Madeleine, Drew, Gabe, Ben and Abigail; and his great grandchild Theo.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of two organizations doing work that Bill cared about: The University of Kansas Health System for the benefit of the cardiovascular program.
