He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Zierlein and Maxine Zierlein (Hughes); his wife Linda Wagoner; and his stepmother May (Heikes). He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Baranowski (Dennis); his grandchildren, Ashley, Phoenix and Eric; his great grandchild Novah of Wichita, KS; his stepgranddaughter Brittany of Austin, TX; his brothers, Larry (Marcia) of New Braunfels, TX and Lynn (Sharon) of Manhattan, KS; and his stepsiblings, Deanna Blankenship (Steve) of Edmond, OK, Gin Harper of Edmond, OK, Lyn Smiley of Edmond, OK and Ron Heikes (Beatrice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Lenora Fire Department in care of Pauls Funeral Home 121 N. Penn Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749.
