He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Dixon and Vivian Dixon (Marshall) of Leon; his siblings, Bob Dixon, Dorothea Osborne and Caroline Mickel; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Osborne, Vernon Burlison, Blanchard Mickel, Jody Dixon and Roberta "Bobbie" Burlison.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Ruckert); his daughters, Diane Hintz (Dan) of California, Carol Brinton (Mark) of Arizona, Susan Graham (Tom) of Leon and Joyce Hanner (Jon) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Nate (Gabriella), Joel Hintz (Caroline), Jon Brinton (Candice), Amanda Lickteig (Seth), Tom Graham (Aubrey), Jennifer Toomey (Ian) and Jessica Goodwin (Jason); his great grandchildren, Ava, Ryan, Noah, Milo, Curtis, Ellen, Jaxon, Theodore and Edison; his siblings-in-law, Hank Ruckert (Vivian) and Ann Carr-Dixon; and his cousin Charles Dixon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Leon Christian Church (300 N East St, Leon, KS 67074).
