He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer David and Ellen Marie Lund (Johnson); his wife Alice Mae Richter; his grandchildren, Joshua Peterson and Heidi Peterson; his siblings, Lenore Isaacson (Carl), Duane Lund (Jean), Viola Fellers (Kenny), Eunice Toepffer (Vic), Janice Krienitz (John), Donald Lund (Helen), Ruby, Ruth and Ester Lund; and his brother-in-law Arlo Richter.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hofmann (Galen) of Leonardville, Delbert Lund (LuAnn) of Leonardville, Marla Peterson (David) of Assaria and Joyce Beck (Joe) of Clay Center; his grandchildren, Gayle Johnson (Shaun), Michelle Ahumada (Javier), Darren Hofmann (Bethany), Rebecca Blackburn (Andrew), Ashley Runyan (Adam), Ryan Lund (Annelise), Greg Peterson (BrookeAnna), Nathan Peterson (Riley), Kendal Peterson (Caelan), Laura Clawson (Walker), Lundee Regier (Nick) and Kolten Beck (Carley); his great grandchildren, Annika, Lillian Ahumada, Layla, Cora, Jack Johnson, Henry, Levi, Anna Hofmann, Boston, Ellis Blackburn, Carter, Brayden Runyan, Clark, Arlo, Ida Mae Lund, Brighton, Steele Peterson, Henley, Owen, Natalie Peterson, Blair, Ada, Grady Peterson, Aubrey Clawson, Lantry, Emmeline, Conrad Regier and Wesley Beck; and his siblings-in-law, Neil Richter, Twila Olson (Glen), Marcene Richter, Lois Grittman (Dean) and Sherre Johnson (Lowell). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his friends.
Memorials may be made to Alert Covenant Church or Leonardville Nursing Home and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
