He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Schroeder, Sr.; his grandparents, Rasmus, Sarah Jensen, Leon and Protus Schroeder; his uncles, Ken (Chris Weed), Marvin and John Schroeder (Keith Frodin); his aunt Mary Garrett; and his cousins, Rick Schroeder, Bill Frodin, Gloria Ribordy and Linda Roesch.

He is survived by: his mother Helen Schroeder (Jensen) of Levant; his brother Robert Schroeder, Jr. of Levant; and his aunts, Lois Anne Frodin of Goodland and Betty Schroeder of Colby, KS.
