The passing of Mica Nicholas Schnoebelen (Lewis, Kansas) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his son Kade Orion; his father-in-law Darrell Rexwinkle; and his close friend Tom Stejskal. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie; his daughter Kelsey Amy (Jordan); his daughter-in-law Megan Shriver (Aaron); his parents, Nick Lou and Mary Lou; his sisters, Gwenda Waldron (Tom) and Sasha Allison (Todd) of Wilmore; his grandchildren, Kayley, Jordy, Jett Amy, Bristol, Sutton and Kip Schnoebelen; and his brother Scott Strate. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (203 Hudson Ave, Belpre, KS 67519). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wayne Cemetery (2049 J Rd, Lewis, KS 67552).
Memorials may be given to either Lewis Fire Department or to Trousdale Fire Department in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
