He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donna Van Buren, Twila Patton and Dennis Patton; and his great-grandparents, Sherman and Dorothy Morlen.

He is survived by: his parents, Donald E. Patton and Teresa L. Patton (Van Buren) of Liberal; his siblings, Justin Patton of Liberal, Savannah and Amber Patton of Liberal; and his grandfather Larry Van Buren of Liberal. He is also survived by Seven nephews and nieces.
