With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Starkey (Liberal, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Hess and Dortha Gillespie Hess; her husband Michael Starkey; her brother Orlen Glenn Hess; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Starkey and Mildred Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Logan Starkey (Lindsay Starkey) of Liberal and James Samuel Starkey (Cassie Starkey) of Liberal; and her grandchildren, Shanna Starkey, Zoey Starkey, Peyton McDaniel, Everlee Colter, Clara Starkey and Harley Starkey.
