We are sad to announce that, on November 4, 2025, at the age of 86, Eugene Harke (Liberal, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Harke and Mina V. Harke; his son Devin Gene; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Bonita Smith; his children, Diana Edwards (Joel) of Marianna Florida and Kelby Harke (Janice) of San Antonio, Texas.; his grandchildren, Timothy Edwards, Katy Edwards (Edward Prashanth), Jeffrey Edwards (Austin), Tabitha Edwards and Rebekah Edwards; his sister Anita Witt (Loren); his nephews, Stanley and Steven Witt; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Fyffe.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church, Tyrone Fire Department, or St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
