He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harvey Ratzlaff and Marjorie Evelyn Ratzlaff (Hightower); and his brother Richard Ratzlaff. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Blubaugh of Oklahoma City, OK.

John enjoyed making contributions to St. Jude and the Shriners Hospital, he loved animals and little kids he believed in helping kids because "little kids need help.".
