He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Armstrong and Ethel Armstrong; and his siblings, Ernest Armstrong, Virginia Overholt, Jean Rochel, Claudine Riney and Mary Alice Scates.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his children, Brad Armstrong and Bettina Armstrong; his son-in-law Claude Rosenthal; his grandchildren, Julia Rosenthal and Alex Armstrong Rosenthal (Mari Gilmore); and his great grandchild Petra Rosenthal.
