He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Thomas and Thelma Thomas (Horn); and his stepbrother Rickey Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Thomas of Liberal; his stepchildren, Robert Rodriguez of Fort Stockton and Penny Rodriguez of Liberal; his siblings, Howard Johnson, David Thomas, Sue Bell, Barbara Antrim and Kathy Johnson; his grandchildren, Zenner Rodriguez Sumner and Kovin Rodriguez Sumner; and his siblings' children, David Alan Thomas and Tiffany Thomas.
Memorial Donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
