He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Idler and Marylin Idler; his wife Gail Idler; and his brother-in-law Dave Schaffer. He is survived by: his siblings, George, Jim Idler and Kathy Schaffer; his children, Scott Idler and Amelia Craig; his stepchildren, Michelle Mauch, Sean Silvey and Shannon Silvey; and his daughter Pamela. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
