Warren Kost Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Warren Kost of Liberal, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Warren left this world on August 16, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Kost and Mary Irene Kost (Barker); his siblings, Ralph Kost, Glenna Mayer, Richard Kost, Leon Kost, Marvin Kost, Mary Ann Musgrave and Clyde Delbert; and his stepdaughters, Mina Lavielle and Bonnie Laville.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Kost, Delbert Kost (Diane), Jerry Kost (Patsy), Gerry Kost (Kay) of Hugoton and Sherry Newman of Turpin; his stepchildren, Frank Laville and Kim Luna; his grandchildren, Brandee Snook (Troy), Brandon Newman, Jeri Talcott (Clint), Jena Walla (Chris), Michelle Ray (Justin), Melissa Kost, Michael Kost and Tyson Kost; his great grandchildren, Rowdy Snook, Colten Snook, Alyssa Anderson, Ashton Talcott, Casen Walla, Quinn Walla, Sterling Ray, Stetson Ray, Drake Kost and Cheyenne Kost; and his great great grandchild Keyziah Anderson. He is also survived by several Nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Restlawn Cemetery (8955 US-83, Liberal, KS 67901).
