He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Schroeder and Dorothy Schroeder (Houston); and his siblings-in-law, Fred Fuller and Shirley Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Gerry of Salina; his daughters, Kim Maguire (Todd) of Abilene and Ginger Jones (Dave Moravec) of Salina; his siblings, Sue Lantz (Richard), Judy Fuller, Bob Schroeder, Lyla Schroeder and Lynne Fink (Jim); his grandsons, Brandon Shippy (Rashae), Jerry, Gavin Jones and Mason Jones; and his great grandchildren, Khristian Bountz, Jayce, Shiana Shippy, Delilah Shippy, Clara Shippy and Nora Shippy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (1000 Burr Oak Ln, Salina, KS 67401).
