She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vanover and Elizabeth Vanover (Hussmann); and her husband Simon Pescador. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Thompson of Hays, KS, Melissa Gurney (David) of Lincoln, John Pescador (Gwen) of Salina, KS and Joseph Pescador of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Eric, Amanda (Aaron), Andrew (Brianna), Whitney (Jordan) and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Oliver of Kai, AJ, Brynlee, Cora, Sylis, Freydyn and Rayna; her sister Linda Clark (Tim) of Louisville; and her brother-in-law Jesus Pescador.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home - Hall Chapel (111 E Elm St, Lincoln, KS 67455). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (206 N 5th St, Lincoln, KS 67455). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
