We announce the death of Vivian Meier of Lincoln, Kansas, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 84. Vivian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Vivian will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Vivian will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Vivian’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rinaldo Lawless and Neva Lawless (June); and her husband Cliff. She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Drennan (Mark); her grandchildren, Mattie and Marek Drennan; and her siblings, Charlotte Allen (George) and Eldon Lawless (Vickie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home - Hall Chapel (111 E Elm St, Lincoln, KS 67455). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (966 KS-14, Lincoln, KS 67455). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Lincoln Cemetery (429 E South St, Lincoln, KS 67455).
