Maxine Barton Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 3, 2024, at the age of 93, Maxine Barton in Lincolnville, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hoffner and Carlye Belle Hoffner (Williamson); her stepfather Fred Lewis (Warren Barton); and her brothers, Billy Wayne Hoffner, Bob Hoffner and Richard Hoffner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Simons (Clay) of Lincolnville and Cathy Perez (Bill) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Carlye Simons (Mandy Calderon) of Eugene, Ty Simons of Denver and Cacey Sizemore (Luke) of Maize, Kansas; her siblings, James Hoffner (Marty) of Durham, Wanita Nardi and Bonita Boone of New Albany, Ohio; her sister-in-law Hazel Hoffner of Marion, Kansas; her pet Sammy; and her close friends, Barbara Craney, Ruth Tajchman, Paula Brom and Evelyn Matz.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to USD 397 Centre School District or St Luke Living Center.
