She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Cochrun and Edna Cochrun (Hubbard); her husband Harold L. "Prince" Elmquist; her son James Berryhill; her stepson Larry Elmquist; and her siblings, Audrey Schneider, Larry Cochran, Dall Cochrun and O. D. Cochrun.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Mullender (Vanan) of Waldo, Donna Cole of Lindsborg and Elizabeth Whitson (Maurice) of Smithton, Missouri; and her stepchildren, Gary Elmquist (Ann) of Osawatomie and Lauren Lofgren (Ron) of Wayne, Nebraska. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary (610 N Maple St, Russell, KS 67665).
