He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan J. Gottneid and Alice M. Gottneid (Lindbeck); and his brother-in-law Darrel Rusch. He is survived by: his siblings, David Gottneid (Jane) and Susan Rusch; and his siblings' children, Christina Carlson (Justin), Tim Rusch, Grady and Malin Carlson.
