He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcena Cooper and Sarah "Esther" Caroline Cooper (Mays); and his brother Jim Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his children, Stephen Cooper (Sandie), Phillip McMillen (Rhonda), Mario Cooper, Darrell Cooper (Kate) and Andrea Laper (Collin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
