With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan E. Hopp of Lindsborg, Kansas, born in McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert Bengtson and Pearl Bengtson (Danielson); her husband Merle L. Hopp; and her sisters, Charlene Wilbur and Annette Lesser.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Fiedler (Richard) of Salina, KS, Tammy Oborg (Craig) of Lindsborg, KS, Vickie O'Steen (Jack) of Lindsborg, KS, Larry Hopp of Wichita, KS and Dwight Hopp of Lindsborg, KS; and her brothers, Robert Bengtson of Branson, MO and James Bengtson of Topeka, KS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
