She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jost and Elisabeth Jost (Funk); her stepmother Viola Jost (Klassen); her husband Robert Sommerfeld; her grandson Austin Sommerfeld; and her daughter-in-law Deanna "June" Sommerfeld.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Sommerfeld of Brookeville, KS and David Sommerfeld (Connie) of Assaria, KS; and her granddaughters, Natasha and Jessica. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
