He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Prince" Elmquist and Ethelynn Elmquist (Olson); and his stepbrother James Berryhill. He is survived by: his wife Marla Ann Elmquist; his stepmother Carol Elmquist (Cochrun); his siblings, Lauran Lofgren (Ron) and Gary Elmquist (Ann); his stepsisters, Brenda, Donna and Elizabeth; his siblings-in-law, Marlysue Esping Holmquist (Tom) and Mark Esping (Mardel); his nieces and nephews, Hella, Alicia, Katy, Elisabeth, Benedikt, Trent, Jenny, Jason, Aimee, Jesika, Sean, Bethany, Ryan, Majkin, Cody and John; his foster daughter Leila (Fred); and his nibling Liezel Congresso Solas.
