He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Long and Alma Long. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schwartz; his children, Michelle Growney (Ted) of Kansas City, MO and Kevin Long (Amy) of Spring Hill, KS; his grandchildren, Allison, Abby, Ashlyn, Blake and Bryson; and his siblings, Brenda Freeman of Topeka, KS, Sherri Chapman (Bill) of Topeka, KS and Darrell Long of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Grove Bible Church (16766 Cantrell Rd, Bonner Springs, KS 66012).
