She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Whitaker; her son Billy Dean Pottorff; her grandchildren, Billy Dwayne Pottorff and Jesse Pottorff; and her parents, Franklin Maynard and Elsie Maynard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dixie Jennings and Rebecca Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Harmony Harts, Shane Jennings, Merabeth Goff, Ryan Shaffer and Andrew Shaffer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Louisburg Chapel (1 Aquatic Dr, Louisburg, KS 66053). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to Cedar Cove Feline Conservation Park, 3783 K68 Hwy, Louisburg, Kansas 66053. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
