She is survived by: her husband Fred DeHoff; her children, Brandy Kalinka, Kristin and Jeremiah Ross; her grandchildren, Lindy, Tyson, Ellie, Jimmy, Branden, Harrison, Kaleb, Jaxtin and Sam; her great grandchildren, Homer, Maddox, Adalyn, Ridley and Isla; and her brothers, Gary and Gregg.

“Gayle was a very kind spirit and was best friends with my wife (her aunt Donna Hosack) as they spent many summer togethers when Donna would go to visit from Corpus Christi. They continued their loving relationship as they became adults when Donna moved to Los Angeles and used the stage name Bond Gideon to pursue acting career in TV/film. Gayle was our daughter Tory Tompkins' godmother. She will be missed.”
